Formed in 2011 as a one-man band, Shakey Graves - a.k.a. the performance moniker of Austin, Texas-born Alejandro Rose-Garcia - has since bloomed into a full band blending together elements from folk, blues, rock, and Americana. Whittled down from epic-length studio jam sessions Rose-Garcia recorded with a new-to-him group of musicians, the eclectic album encompasses languid psych-rock, sparse folk, funky lo-fi rock, and even sampled found sounds.
